[Adastra] A quotation

Today, I stumbled across this quotation, which I thought summed up the value
of wildlife recording rather well, from 'Wollaston' (the 19th C entomologist
and malacologist Thomas Vernon Wollaston I think):

"Facts, if carefully and honestly recorded, cannot but prove of real value,
sooner or later, in the solution of some of the intricate questions arising
out of the diffusion of animals and plants."
